Don?t se what is left after spending. But spend what is left after sings.
Wanting to se money is not enough. Anyway, there are a lot of things which didn?t come true although you wanted them to.
Sing is a technique . It?s simple. It?s just not easy.
If you only come to think about sing after you spend, there is no chance for you to accumulate a considerable fortune, because spending is always irrational.
The way that works is to make plans in advance.
Would it be too much to use 40% of my income to rent an apartment?
Is it really enough to se just 20% every month?
Only by making it clear how much you want to se can you come to know how much you can actually spend.
What will matter?
Ready or not, some day it will all come to an end. There will be no more sunrises, no days, no hours or minutes. All the things you collected, whether treasured or forgotten, will pass to someone else.
Your wealth, fame and temporal power will shrivel to irrelevance. It will not matter what you owned or what you were owed.
Your grudges, resentments, frustrations, and jealousies will finally disear.
So, too, your hopes, ambitions, plans, and to-do lists will all expire. The wins and losses that once seemed so important will fade away.
It won't matter where you came from, or on what side of the tracks you lived.
It won't matter whether you were beautiful or brilliant. Your gender, skin color, ethnicity will be irrelevant.
So what will matter? How will the value of your days be measured?
What will matter is not what you bought, but what you built; not what you got, but what you ge.
What will matter is not your success, but your significance.
What will matter is not what you learned, but what you taught.
What will matter is every act of integrity, compassion, courage and sacrifice that enriched, empowered or encouraged others to emulate your example.
What will matter is not your competence, but your character.
What will matter is not how many people you knew, but how many will feel a lasting loss when you're gone.
What will matter is not your memories, but the memories of those who loved you.
What will matter is how long you will be remembered, by whom and for what.
Living a life that matters doesn? t hen by accident.
It s not a matter of circumstance but of choice.
Choose to live a life that matters.
Warren Buffet once said: "If you don?t find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die."
Sounds ridiculous in the first place, right? Isn?t that obvious?
And how on earth can it be possible to make money while you sleep?
If you want to he an income, you he to work, right?
But no, what he said is not wrong.
That way which he described as to make money while you sleep is called investing.
Normal middle-class use their skills and time to make money. But the rich use their money to make money. They invest the money that they own now to make ROI, which means return on investment.
It?s not a hard thing to do, because there are a lot of ways to manage your personal finance.
In the past, I usually spent as much as I could earn in a month.
But when I saw this quote of Buffett, I suddenly realized: Isn?t that making all my efforts in vain? Because I he nothing left. I didn?t make anything for my future.
That?s why I started to face the truth of how I was living. And I made some bold changes and began to se money.
I wish that there is a day when I no longer need to work and can use money to make money.

1、People always say that we are lacking of the eyes of realizing the beauty in life. I can't agree with it anymore. Last week, I woke up very early in the morning, so I decided to take a walk. The street was very quiet and there were many old people dancing in the square. Without many cars, I realized the city looked so clean and beautiful. Some coffee shops decorates so well, which attrated my eyes. The city was coverd by the green trees, which made it a green city. I liked this feeling so much. At this moment, I found the city was so lovely, I just ingored its beauty usually.
2、Know that you are the blessed. Why do you feel so stressed? Know that you can he anything at duanwenw your orders. Why don’t you act on opportunities? Know that you can go through all disasters. Why don’t you live life to the full? Know that there is no point in being dull. Why do you dou your talent and skill? Know that you can achieve anything with your incredible will. Why do you spend life feeling so miserable4?Know that no matter what, your soul is indestructible.
1、Positive thinking. I’m obviously a big proponent of positive thinking as the best way to achieve your goals, but it turns out that it can lead to hiness too. Optimism and self-esteem are some of the best indicators of people who lead hy lives. Hy people feel empowered, in control of their lives, and he a positive outlook on life. Action steps: Make positive thinking a habit. In fact, this should be one of the first habits you develop. Get into the habit of squashing all negative thoughts and replacing them with positive ones. Instead of “I can’t” think“I can”. It may sound corny, but it has worked for me, every time.
1、The wrong gift
A friend of mine, Miie T. decided to abandon everything she knew she was an economist in order to dedicate herself to painting. For years she sought an adequate master until she met a woman who lived in Tibet and specialized in miniatures. Miie left Japan and went to the Tibetan mountains and moved in with the teacher, who was extremely poor, to learn what she needed to learn. At the end of the first year, Miie returned to Japan for a couple of days and returned to Tibet with suitcases filled with gifts. When her teacher saw what she had brought, she began to cry and asked Miie not to come back to her home, saying, “Before your trip, our relation was of equality and love. You had a roof, food and paints. “Now, as you brought me these gifts, you he established a social difference between us. “If this difference exists, there can’t be comprehension and surrendering.”
2、The fish who sed my life救了我命的那条鱼
Nasrudin is walking past a ce when he sees a yogi, deep in meditation, and he asks the yogi what he is searching for. The yogi says: I study the animals and he learned many lessons from them that can transform a mans life.
A fish once sed my life, Nasrudin replies. If you teach me everything you know, I will tell you how it hened.
The Yogi is astonished; only a holy man could be sed by a fish. And he decides to teach Nasrudin everything he knows. When he has finished, he says to Nasrudin: Now that I he taught you everything, I would be proud to know how a fish sed your life.
Very simple, says Nasrudin, I was almost dying of hunger when I caught it and, thanks to that fish, I had enough food for three days.
3、The law and the fruits
In the desert, fruit was scarce. God called one of his prophets and said:- Each person may only eat one fruit a day. The custom was obeyed for many generations, and the ecology of the place was preserved. Since the remaining fruit supplied seeds, other trees eared. Soon, the entire region was turned into fertile soil, which was the envy of other towns. But the people continued to eat one fruit a day they remained faithful to what the ancient prophet of their forefathers had told them. However they never allowed the inhabitants of other villages to take advantage of the abundant harvest with which they were rewarded each year.
The result was that fruit rotted on the ground. God called a new prophet and said:- Let them eat as much fruit as they like. And ask them to share the abundance with their neighbors. The prophet came to the town with the new message. But he was stoned for by now the custom was ingrained in the hearts and minds of each of the inhabitants. With time, the younger villagers began to question the barbaric old custom. But, since the tradition of the elders was unbending, they decided to abandon the religion. Thus, they could eat as much fruit as they wished, and give the rest to those in need of food. The only people who remained faithful to the local church, were those who considered themselves saints. But in truth they were unable to see how the world changes, and recognize how one must change with it.

“We are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book whose pages are infinite…”
I do not know who wrote those words, but I he always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want to make it. We can take the mysterious, hazy future and carve out of it anything that we can imagine, just as a sculptor carves a statue from a shapeless stone.
We are all in the position of the farmer. If we plant a good seed, we reap a good harvest. If our seed is poor and full of weeds, we reap a useless crop. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.
I want the future to be better than the past. I don’t want it contaminated by the mistakes and errors with which history is filled. We should all be concerned about the future because that is where we will spend the remainder of our lives.
The past is gone and static. Nothing we can do will change it. The future is before us and dynamic. Everything we do will affect it. Each day brings with it new frontiers, in our homes and in our business, if we only recognize them. We are just at the beginning of the progress in every field of human endeor.
2When someone looks into your eyes they should see something alive within you. Hing a dream is like owning a lighthouse1 which directs you on your journey.
At every turn we come across its mystery. At each new level we become more of the person we were meant to become. In lonely times, when we pass through a storm of disointment, we find our faith is unshaken, our strength still strong.
Believe in your faith. Set the vision before your eyes. Write down your most sincere dreams and when the opportunity comes, step into your dream. It may take one season or more, but the result is the same. Make big dreams and then go out and make them realities. The highest hopes of the dreamer are revealed with every step taken in their journey to the impossible. For a season we must protect the dream so that it can grow quietly on the inside. But if we tenderly care for our deepest expectations, slowly but surely the dream will become new life.
Dreaming is an act of faith. The light of your expectations will cast off the shadows of a disbelieving world. God has given us the dreamer as a gift to light an unbelieving world.
Find your treasure within and cherish it. Tomorrow is waiting for you to take the first step.
3The Power of Your Actions
Graduation day arrived — I saw Kyle and he looked great. He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school. He filled out and actually looked good in glasses. He had more dates than me and all the girls loved him!
Boy, sometimes I was jealous. Today was one of those days. I could see that he was nervous about his speech. So, I smacked him on the back and said, "Hey, big guy, you'll be great!"
He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled. "Thanks," he said. As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began. "Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years. Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a ... but mostly your friends. I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them. I am going to tell you a story."
I stared at my friend in disbelief as he told the story of the first day we met. He had planned to kill himself over the weekend. He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't he to do it later and was carrying his stuff home. He looked hard at me and ge me a little smile. "Thankfully, I was sed. My friend sed me from doing the unspeakable."
I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all about his weakest moment. I saw his Mom and dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile. Not until that moment did I realize its depth.
Never underestimate the power of your actions. With one small gesture you can change a person's life. For better or for worse. God puts us all in each other's lives to impact one another in some way. Look for God in others.
"Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings he trouble remembering how to fly."
There is no beginning or end ... Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is mystery. Today is a gift.

A New Look from Borrowed Time By Ralph Richmond
Just ten years ago, I sat across the desk from a doctor with a stethoscope. “Yes,” he said, “there is a lesion in the left, upper lobe. You he a moderately advanced case…” I listened, stunned, as he continued, “You’ll he to give up work at once and go to bed. Later on, we’ll see.” He ge me no assurances.
Feeling like a man who in mid-career has suddenly been placed under sentence of death with an indefinite reprieve, I left the doctor’s office, walked over to the park, and sat down on a bench, perhaps, as I then told myself, for the last time. I needed to think. In the next three days, I cleared up my affairs; then I went home, got into bed, and set my watch to tick off not the minutes, but the months. two and a half years and many dashed hopes later, I left my bed and began the long climb back. It was another year before I made it.
I speak to this experience because these years that past so slowly taught me what to value and what to believe. They said to me: Take time, before time takes you. I realize now that this world I’m living in is not my oyster to be opened but my opportunity to be grasped. Each day, to me, is a precious entity. The sun comes up and presents me with 24 brand new, wonderful hours—not to pass, but to fill.
I’ve learned to reciate those little, all-important things I never thought I had the time to notice before: the play of light on running water, the music of the wind in my forite pine tree. I seem now to see and hear and feel with some of the recovered freshness of childhood. How well, for instance, I recall the touch of the springy earth under my feet the day I first stepped upon it after the years in bed. It was almost more than I could bear. It was like regaining one’s citizenship in a world one had nearly lost.
Frequently, I sit back and say to myself, Let me make note of this moment I’m living right now, because in it I’m well, hy, hard at work doing what I like best to do. It won’t always be like this, so while it is I’ll make the most of it—and afterwards, I remember—and be grateful. All this, I owe to that long time spent on the sidelines of life. Wiser people come to this awareness without hing to acquire it the hard way. But I wasn’t wise enough. I’m wiser now, a little, and hier.
“Look thy last on all things lovely, every hour.” With these words, Walter de la Mare sums up for me my philosophy and my belief. God made this world—in spite of what man now and then tries to do to unmake it—a dwelling place of beauty and wonder, and He filled it with more goodness than most of us suspect. And so I say to myself, Should I not pretty often take time to absorb the beauty and the wonder, to contribute a least a little to the goodness? And should I not then, in my heart, give thanks? Truly, I do. This I believe.
Paying the Rent of Service By Lee Bristol
In a complex society and a complex civilization, the individual is inevitably confused much of the time. But I believe that the basic solution of all world and group problems must first be solved by the individual himself. Each one of us, whether we publicly admit it or not, has a deeply spiritual side. Not one of us can conceal it—scratch the surface and it’s always there. So first of all—and underlying all my credo—I believe in God and in an orderly universe.
As a mortal, passing through this life for just a limited period of time, I believe that hiness is a truly basic objective—hiness for one’s self and, hopefully, hiness for others. It hasn’t taken too much living on my part to discover that real hiness, which sounds so selfish and so self-centered, is never achieved merely by selfish materialism—it can only he depth and real satisfaction if it is bound up with unselfishness—with a consideration for others. Service is the very essence of it. It has been said that “service is the rent we pay for our place on earth.” That kind of service brings the true hiness that we all seek.
The antithesis of all this is selfishness, which is outstandingly the greatest world-wide vice. It seems though all the world had the “gimmies,” selfishly grasping for power, and more and more, at national levels, with individuals selfishly struggling for material things at their own level.
Each one of us needs a sense of humor with its balancing factor of a sense of proportion. I believe a sense of humor brings poise and a start towards understanding.
My credo embraces a joyous roach for me toward my fellow man and for collective groups towards each other. I want none of that grim hellfire-and-brimstone stuff that flourished in the early days of our country—a religion of frightening fear of the hereafter. Why, even their old church pews were as uncomfortable as straitjackets! A joyous roach towards living even cheers you yourself—to say nothing of its warmth that eases the burdens of others.
I believe that brotherhood can grow from this to help destroy forever the seeds of friction and injustice that stem from group minority prejudices.
If only each one of us can develop a sound philosophy and work out a course of conduct as individuals, then I believe we can solve our world problems at the international level. Thomas Mann once ge this challenging definition: “War is only a cowardly escape from the problems of peace.” With faith and good will in our hearts and with peace in our souls and minds, surely we can lee this world the better for our hing lived in it.
Man Is Like a Fruit Tree by Elmer H. Bobst
Once, while taking my boat down the inland waterway to Florida, I decided to tie up at Georgetown, South Carolina, for the night and visit with an old friend. As we roached the Esso dock, I saw him through my binoculars standing there awaiting us. Tall and straight as an arrow he stood, facing a cold, penetrating wind - truly a picture of a sturdy man, even though in his eighties. Yes, the man was our elder statesman, Bernard Baruch.
He loaded us into his station wagon and we were off to his famous Hobcaw Barony for dinner. We sat and talked in the great living room where many notables and statesmen, including Roosevelt and Churchill, he sat and taken their cues. In his eighty-second year, still a human dynamo, Mr. Baruch talked not of the past but of present problems and the future, deploring our ignorance of history, economics and psychology. His only reference to the past was to tell me, with the wonderful sparkle in his eyes, that he was only able to get eight quail out of the ten shots the day before. What is the secret of this great man's value to the world? The answer is his insatiable desire to keep being productive.
Another friend of mine, the head of one of our largest corporations, a great steel company, is roaching his middle seventies, and he is still a great leader. He, too, never talks of the past. Instead, he tackles the problems of each day in his stride, brims with plans for the future and, incidentally, shoots in the low seventies on any golf course. He is a hy man because he is productive.
Two of the hardest things to accomplish in this world are to acquire wealth by honest effort and, hing gained it, to learn how to use it properly. Recently, I walked into the locker room of a rather well-known golf club after finishing a round. It was in the late afternoon and most of the members had left for their homes. But a half dozen or so men past middle age were still seated at tables, talking aimlessly and drinking more than was good for them. These same men can be found there day after day, strangely enough, each one of these men had been a man of affairs and wealth, successful in business and respected in the community. If material prosperity were the chief requisites for hiness, then each one should he been hy. Yet, it seemed to me, something very important was missing, else there would not he been the constant effort to escape the realities of life through Scotch and soda. They knew, each one of them, that their productivity had ceased. When a fruit tree ceases to bear its fruit, it is dying. And it is even so with man.
What is the answer to a long and hy existence in this world of ours? I think I found it long ago in a passage from the book of Genesis which caught my eyes while I was thumbing through my Bible. The words were few but they became indelibly impressed on my mind: "In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat thy bread."
To me that has been a challenge from my earliest recollections. In fact, the battle of life, of existence, is a challenge to everyone. The immortal words of St. Paul, too, he been and always will be a great inspiration to me. At the end of the road I want to be able to feel that I he fought a good fight - he finished the course - I he kept the faith.

1. Many people believe that they will be hy once they arrive at some specific goal they set for themselves. However, more often than not, once you arrive " there" you will still feel dissatisfied, and move your " there" vision to yet another point in the future. By always chasing after another "there," you are never really reciating what you already he right "here." It is important for human beings to keep soberminded about the age-old drive to look beyond the place where you now stand. On one hand, your life is enhanced by your dreams and aspirations. On the other hand, these drives can pull you farther and farther from your enjoyment of your life right now. By learning the lessons of gratitude and abundance, you can bring yourself closer to fulfilling the challenge of living in the present.
2、Once learning stops, vegetation sets in. It is a common fallacy to regard school as the only workshop for the acquisition of knowledge. On the contrary, learning should be a never-ending process, from the cradle to the gre. With the world ever changing so fast, the cease from learning for just a few days will make a person lag behind. What's worse, the animalistic instinct dormant deep in our subconsciousness will come to life, weakening our will to pursue our noble ideal, sing our determination to sweep away obstacles to our success and strangling our desire for the refinement of our character. Lack of learning will inevitably lead to the stagnation of the mind, or even worse, its fossilization, Therefore, to stay mentally young, we he to take learning as a lifelong career.

Giving up too soon
Tolerance is painful, but its fruits is sweet.
A man meets a guru in the road. The man asks the guru, "Which way is success?" The berobed, bearded sage speaks not, but points to a place off in the distance.
The man, thrilled by the prospect of quick and easy success, rushes off in the ropriate direction. Suddenly, there es a loud "SPLAT." Eventually, the man limps back, tattered and stunned, assuming he must he misinterpreted the message. He repeats his question to the guru, duanwenw who again points silently in the same direction.
The man obediently walks off once more. This time the splat is deafening, and when the man crawls back, he is bloody, broken, tattered, and irate. "I asked you which way is success," he screams at the guru. "I followed the direction you indicated. And all I got was splatted! No more of this pointing! Talk!"
Only then does the guru speak, and what he says is this: "Success IS that way. Just a little PAST splat."
Rising Moon
There is a hill near my home that I often climb at night.
The noise of the city is a far-off whisper when I climb it. In the dark I share the cheerfulness of crickets and the leisure of owls. duanwenw But what I e to see is the wonder of the moon rise. It gives me peacefulness and simplicity4 that the city exhausts too easily.
From this hill I he watched many moons rise. Each one had its own mood. There he been broad and beautiful moons in autumn; shy and misty moons in spring; lonely and white winter moons rising into the absolute silence of an ink- black sky and orange moons over the dry fields of summer. Each, like fine music, excited my heart and calmed my soul.
We, who live indoors, he lost contact with the moon. The rays of street lights and the dust of pollution cover the night sky. Though man has walked on the moon, in a way it is less familiar. Few of us can say what time the moon will rise tonight.
Still, it resonates with us. If we unexpectedly e across the full moon, huge and yellow over the horizon, we can’t help staring back at its beautiful earance, duanwenw and the moon has gifts to those who watch it.
By enjoying the bright moon, we can melt6 into the quiet of the night.

On Going a Journey
One of the most pleasant things to do in this world is to go on a journey, but I like to go by myself. I can enjoy society in a room, but out of doors nature’s pany is enough for me. I never feel lonely when I’m surrounded by nature.
When I am in the country I prefer to live a country life. I go out of town in order to forget the town and all that is in it. I like hing more room and fewer burdens. I like solitude. When I am in the beautiful scenery, I am looking for solitude, but not for what I ask for.
The soul of a journey is liberty, perfect liberty. To think, to feel and to do just as one pleases. duanwenw We go on journeys chiefly to be free of all obstacles and of all inconveniences, to lee ourselves behind, much more to get rid of others. It is because I want a little space to think about unimportant matters, where thought may grow her feathers and wings.
I can separate myself from the town for a while, without feeling lost. Give me a clear blue sky over my head, green grass beneath my feet, a winding road before me, and let me think! It is hard if I cannot start a game in this lonely field. I laugh, I run, I leap and I sing for joy. Notes:

Life is a process of growing up. Saying goodbye to childhood, we step into another important time of life in the pace of young, facing new situations, dealing with different problems.....
However, who can really say what the youth is ? A period of time? A belief? An attitude to life? Or anything else? actually, everyone has his own understanding of young, it is a period of time of beauty and wonders, only after you he experienced the sour , sweet ,bitter and salty, can you really become a person of significance.
Just like A famous poet said "youth is a lovely song ,where nothing is impossible ,youth is a meaningful book, you'll be never bored of it ;youth is a rapid river ,it keeps on flowing day and night ;youth is a cup of tea ,it shows you different kinds of tastes in your life."
As youth is so precious, of course, we must treasure it .Don't let the limited time pass by, grasping the young will means a better time is waiting for you in the near future.
So,It's necessary for us to prepare ourselves well for the future to come. hing a view on those great men in the history of hunman being, they all made full use of their youth time to do things that are useful to society, to the whole mankind, and as a consequence ,they are remembered by later generations, admired by everyone. so do something in the time of young, although you may not get achievements as these greatmen did ,though not for the whole world, just for youeself, for those around!
So, what should we do when we are young? Here,I'll point out some tips to help equip ourselves.
First of all, think of what you'd like to be some day. A teacher ? A doctor ? A writer? Don't afraid of dreaming of big and great .Since you are young , you can dream of doing anything and becoming anyone in the future.
What's more , never ignore the power of knowledge. Read more books and trel around. For one thing, it can increase your knowledge, for another, it'll broaden your horizon.
